Job Summary:

Mori Web Studios is looking for an SEO Specialist to support the execution of SEO strategies across client websites.

This role focuses on practical implementation, including on-page SEO, content optimization, and local SEO improvements. You should be comfortable working with WordPress websites, optimizing pages, and following structured SEO workflows.

This is an execution-focused role. You will work within a defined system to help improve search visibility, rankings, and overall website performance.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
Perform on-page SEO optimization (titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking)
Optimize website content for search visibility and relevance
Improve website structure and SEO best practices across pages
Identify and fix basic SEO issues across websites
Support local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile optimization, posting, and updates
Create and schedule Google Business Profile posts, including basic image edits using Canva
Support basic reputation management tasks, including monitoring and responding to reviews
Monitor rankings, traffic, and performance using analytics tools
Assist with content updates, basic image edits, and ongoing SEO improvements
Follow structured SEO workflows and implementation plans

Requirements:

1–2+ years of SEO experience (agency or freelance)
Strong understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals
Experience working with WordPress SEO (Rank Math, Yoast, etc.)
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Semrush
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Search Console
Basic understanding of keyword research and content optimization
Ability to follow SEO processes and implement changes accurately
Strong attention to detail and organization
Portfolio or examples of SEO-related work

Nice to Have:

Experience with local SEO and Google Business Profile
Familiarity with US-based local businesses (a plus)
Basic knowledge of technical SEO (site structure, indexing)
Understanding of conversion-focused content
Basic HTML knowledge
